What’s in your verdant city?
- In the aftermath of a toxic apocalypse, does the green fog that shrouds the city hide something worse than the air?
- Do dragons rule the skies, the streets, and the seas?
- A man on the edge of his sanity painting everything green? Why?
- Do zombies rot in the streets they rule?
- Why is the flora taking over the deserted city?
- What waits on the road to the city—and why does nothing travel it twice?
- Do the caravans arrive lighter than when they left—and no one asks why?
- Are the monsters on the road hunting you… or driving you forward?
- Why do the mile markers count down, even when you turn back?
- Does the road remember everyone who walks it?
- Are the rivers running green because of poison—or because something is bleeding into them?
- Do the dead stay dead here, or are they being used for something else?
- Is the city abandoned—or waiting?
- Why do the lights still burn when no one is left to tend them?
- Do the walls keep people out, or keep something in?
- Is the city a ruin of an ancient empire—or something still being built?
- Do machines still function there—and who are they working for now?
- Did something fall from the sky and make the city what it is?
- Are the citizens human—or something that learned how to pass?
- Why does every traveller believe the city will save them?
- What does the city take from you before it lets you in?
- And once you arrive… why would you ever be allowed to leave?
- The apocalypse is a lonely place, but it beats having company.
