Gary resides in Western Australia with his wife, two sons and dog. He is a relative newcomer to writing, having reached the age of 50 without consideration to anything other than work reports.

Encouraged by family and friends to put his ideas to paper, he finally took the plunge and is thrilled to have been published at all, let alone in several anthologies. He has leapt into the welcoming arms of the dark side of writing and enjoys the calming effect it has on his life as he tries to come to grips with the nuances of storytelling.

There are many more story ideas begging to be committed to print when he can find the time to write them, due to work and family commitments. But, as his wife says – ‘He is trying…very trying!’
