Joel R. Hunt
Joel is a writer, proofreader, ex-teacher and part-time human from the UK. He is constantly planning stories, novels and screenplays, a very small number of which actually get written. His genres of choice are horror and sci-fi, although the odd bit of sentiment does manage to sneak in between the freakishness and disturbing twists.
To date, Joel’s stories have found their way into anthologies such as the Dark Drabbles series (Black Hare press), Objection to Perfection (The Gentleman Press) and Sirens at Midnight (NBH Publishing), as well as featured on sites including EveryDayFiction.com and CreepyPasta.com.

Five Golden Rings

The Ancestor Stone
/by Joel R. Huntby Joel R. Hunt Becoming a man had been harder in my grandfather’s youth, or so he delighted in telling me. The Sacred Forest was wild and overgrown. A boy needed to battle dangerous beasts, avoid poisonous plants, ascend the Ancestor Stone and carve off a piece to present to the tribe. Only then […]
